Meet Philip!

Philip is looking for something he thought he had already found—a forever home.

Philip was adopted from PAWS for Life as a kitten and recently returned to us. We were told he wasn’t getting along with the other animals in the home and had really only bonded with one person. Since having Philip back with us, however, we’ve gotten to know a different side of him.

Philip is currently living in a colony with other cats and has done well with everyone we’ve introduced him to. He can be a little reserved and cautious when meeting someone new, but once he settles in, he is tolerant, peaceful, and affectionate. He isn’t looking for trouble—he just seems to need a little time to feel safe.

We believe Philip would thrive in a calm, quieter home without a lot of animals, although he could potentially do very well with one compatible cat. More than anything, he needs a family willing to give him the time and security to settle in and be himself.

Philip is a very sweet boy, and we don’t believe his return tells the whole story of who he is. He deserves another chance—and this time, we want it to be forever.
