Charles came to Texas CARES from an overcrowded shelter along with his three equally beautiful brothers. And while he certainly enjoys kitten life-his ball-track is a particular favorite-Charles is truly an old soul in a kitten body.
His favorite observation point is from the security of your lap, interrupted by short walkabouts around the house checking in on all his peeps. He has the most wonderfully calming energy and will park himself beside you with a look that seems to say, "It's all okay, human. I'll make everything better."
Charles' other special talents? Sleeping as though someone folded him into a pretzel (he's not broken, just silly) and sending up a soft meow right before he falls asleep. In fact, Charles is quite chatty, offering chirps and trills throughout the day just to let you know he is thinking of you.
Charles has met many adult cats and dogs in his foster home and somehow manages to press absolutely no one's buttons(!) He understands boundaries, reads the room, and seems to instinctively know when another animal would prefer that he simply....not.
Charles would love to cohabitate with another feline companion in his forever home. Because he is such a gentle, old-soul sort of guy, a home with older children would suit him best.
