Jammy - Domestic Short Hair and Affenpinscher Cat for Adoption in Powell, Ohio

One Saturday, there was a good Samaritan who brought this beautiful, sweet girl into Cozy Cat. Dogs had gotten to her kitten and the people wanted to make sure that the mom was taken to a safe place. They didn't see any other kittens, so they assumed that the mom only had the one that, unfortunately, didn't make it.

We thought this cat was super lucky to have escaped the dogs and been brought to us. However, lucky is a cursed name so we couldn't name this girl lucky. But, Jammy is British slang for lucky so we named her Jammy. Later that night, we learned that we can't even name cats with slang terms for lucky.

We received a message on Instagram from the good Samaritan saying that they had found three very small kittens. Jammy's kittens! Because of how small they were, we rushed to reunite them with their mom, hoping that we weren't too late.

When we got to Cozy Cat and inspected the kittens, we noticed that they still had their umbilical cords attached! They were less than 24 hours old!

Thankfully, Jammy recognized her kittens right away and was very excited to be reunited with them! She started taking care of them right away and she did an amazing job raising them (with the help of her foster home).
