Penguin aka PENGU - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Portland, Oregon

Pengu

This adorable little tuxedo kitten is dressed to impress in his black-and-white coat, with super-soft fur and a heart full of love! Pengu is a brave, curious little adventurer who loves to tumble, explore, and play with absolutely anything he can get his paws on. His favorite treasure? A bright yellow pom-pom ball that he just can't get enough of!

Pengu is wonderfully social and loves playing with kids, dogs, and other cats. But for all his adventurous spirit, Pengu is also a world-class snuggler. The moment you pick him up, his purr motor starts running! He loves curling up in your arms, soaking up pets, and settling in for a cozy nap.

With his playful personality, fearless curiosity, and snuggly sweetness, Pengu is ready to waddle his way right into your heart and make himself at home with his forever family!

A loving home starts with a loving foster home.

At Northwest Animal Companions, every kitten is raised in a foster home, never in a large shelter building. Our kittens are loved and cared for in homes where their foster families get to know their personalities, habits, and needs. That means we can help you find the right match and share what makes each kitten special before you bring them home.

Our $200 adoption fee includes:

- Spay or neuter surgery
- Microchip - Homeagain Temp Scan
- Deworming and flea treatment (as needed)
- Vaccinations up to date for their age
- A veterinary exam
- Testing for feline leukemia (FeLV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV)

We are proud to be one of the few rescues in our area that provides FeLV/FIV testing for our adoptable kittens.

Our commitment continues after adoption. If an adoption does not work out for any reason, we will take our cat or kitten back. They will always have a place with our rescue.

Ready to meet your new family member? Please complete an adoption application, http://nwac-oregon.org/adoption-application. Once approved, we will contact you to arrange a meet-and-greet, so check your junk/spam mail frequently.

Northwest Animal Companions is an all-volunteer, nonprofit rescue. With no large facility, our work happens through dedicated foster families, volunteers, and supporters. Every dollar of your adoption fee goes directly toward the medical care and daily needs of the animals in our care.
