Bean Dip & Juke (bonded brothers)
Does your household need an infusion of chill, orange joy? These teen-age (in cat development: 9 months old) brothers may need to meet you. This is a great age for adoption: they are still young and curious but much more sensible than chaotic baby kittens!
Bean Dip is the bigger brother (quite big indeed!) and has a vibrant, classic striped tabby coat. His expression can be a bit...judgy but that doesnt match his personality at all. Hes just a goof. Juke has white shading on his face, small areas of strips on his head and extremities, but the rest of his coat is smooth solid orange/cream. Most of his fur is ticked like an Abyssinians (there is NO reason to think hes actually that breed). Something about Jukes face makes him look constantly concerned but inquisitive incredibly charming.
Bean Dip and Juke are laid-back and unflappable. They showed reasonable concern when transferred to a new environment but quickly relaxed and explored. From day one theyve been interested and friendly but its taken a couple weeks for their truly cuddly side to emerge. Bean Dip now loves lounging up against a human, receiving constant pets and adoration. Juke likes a bit more space when he naps but always runs up to humans for headbutts and pets. Once they know you, these a chatty guys.
These brothers have a medium energy level: playful but not constantly ricochetting off furniture or each other. Juke LOVES leaping for a feather toy while Bean Dip prefers hunting prey on the ground. Their favorite spot is a toddler-sized chair from which they observe the whole room.
The boys entered NWAC care because their human faced difficult life circumstances. Its clear that they were well cared-for and loved in their last home. They came with a full and up-to-date set of medical records and no health issues. Their time in foster care has allowed us to learn their personalities, how they adapt to new situations, and prepare to find them the best adoption match.
Bean Dip and Juke would thrive in a family of any type, including a busy household with young humans. Nothing seems to worry them and theyre unfailingly gentle. Theyre good eaters with polite litter box habits.
They currently share a bedroom with their teen foster-human and have hung out with human guests, older kids, and other cats. They havent met a dog or tiny humans, at least not since entering foster care. Based on their temperaments, we believe they could do well with any friendly family members, if properly introduced and supervised.
Because of their close relationship, Bean Dip and Juke must be adopted together.
