DESCRIPTION
Midna is a 5-month-old stunning brown tabby who has already proven just how resilient she is. She first had her eye removed by another party, but when she arrived at the county shelter, the surgical site was badly infected and required a second repair. Not long after everything she had already endured, she was placed on a euthanasia deadline simply for having one eye and testing FIV positive.
Because she's so young, there's a chance that test could still turn negative-but even if it doesn't, FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) is often misunderstood. FIV-positive cats can live long, happy, completely normal lives. It's primarily spread through deep bite wounds from serious fighting, not casual play, grooming, or sharing food and water. Since Midna is spayed and like most cats isn't out looking to fight, she can safely live with FIV-negative cats without issue.
Despite everything she's been through, Midna is incredibly sweet, loving, and full of life. She doesn't let anything slow her down and is ready to bring her gentle, resilient spirit into a home that will give her the love she deserves.
