His name is Jimmy Neutron, but unlike his cartoon namesake, this Jimmy is NOT a boy genius. In fact, we're pretty sure the only thing going on inside that adorable little head is elevator music.

Jimmy has a condition called hydrocephalus, which is a fancy medical term for an abnormal buildup of cerebrospinal fluid in and around the brain. This extra fluid can put pressure on the brain and affect its development\. In some cats, this means they have less brain tissue than your average kitty.

In Jimmy's case? Well, let's just say he's running on a slightly different operating system.

And before anyone gets worried, Jimmy has been evaluated by a neurologist, undergone genetic testing, and his condition is currently managed with daily medications! He's got a whole medical team behind that magnificent noggin of his.

But here's the thing about Jimmy. He is quite possibly one of the happiest, sweetest, most ridiculously lovable kittens I've ever fostered.

Jimmy doesn't have a care in the world. No drama. No stress. No complicated thoughts. Just good vibes, an adorable face, and an overwhelming amount of love to give.

He loves other cats, gets along great with dogs, and we think he'd be wonderful with kids, too. He's easygoing, affectionate, and genuinely just happy to be included in whatever is happening around him. He may not be solving any math equations, but he has absolutely mastered the art of being everyone's favorite little weirdo.

Now, Jimmy does come with some special instructions. Because hydrocephalus is a lifelong neurological condition, Jimmy needs an adopter who understands that his medical care isn't optional. He'll need his daily medications, regular veterinary monitoring, and a family committed to working with his veterinarian to keep him healthy and comfortable. His long-term needs may change, so we're looking for someone ready to love him through whatever life brings.

I'm going to be completely transparent here. I am OBSESSED with Jimmy Neutron. If I had room for one more cat, this little bobbleheaded bundle of happiness would already have my last name and a permanent spot on my couch.

But Jimmy deserves his very own family. Someone who sees beyond his diagnosis and recognizes what I see every single day: a perfectly imperfect little kitten who has absolutely no idea he's different.
