Olive is a gentle, sensitive soul who is looking for a patient home willing to let her continue blossoming at her own pace.

She was rescued from a cat colony when she was still very young. Life outside taught Olive to rely heavily on the comfort and safety of other cats, which is why feline companionship means everything to her. Other cats are truly her comfort zone.

When Olive first arrived in foster care, she was extremely scared and spent most of her time hiding. Since then, she has made incredible progress. She now comes out regularly to quietly watch what’s going on around her, observe her humans from a safe distance, and slowly become part of the home. Watching her confidence grow has been so rewarding.

Olive absolutely thrives around other cats. She seeks them out constantly for cuddles, comfort, and playtime, and she would do best in a home with a friendly, social kitty companion. She’s wonderful at keeping other cats active and engaged and would be an amazing match for someone whose cat could use a playful little best friend.

She’s also very food motivated and LOVES treats, which are definitely the way to her heart.

Olive may not be an instant lap cat, but for the right person, earning her trust and watching her continue to come out of her shell will be incredibly special. All she needs is time, patience, and a loving home willing to let her move at her own pace.
