Meet Monica—adorable, affectionate, and apparently morally opposed to sitting still for pictures. ‍

All I wanted was ONE cute adoption photo.

Me: “Monica, look at the camera!”
Monica: No. I think I'll climb on you instead.

“Okay, sit still.”
Nope.

“Monica... just TWO seconds.”
How about I crawl into your lap?

“PLEASE let me get one good picture!”
Monica: Best I can do is sit on your head.

After approximately 5,000 attempts, I realized maybe these ARE the perfect adoption pictures—because they show exactly who Monica is.

She's an active little kitten who wants to be right in the middle of everything, and apparently her favorite place to be is ON HER PERSON. Lap, chest, shoulder, head... Monica isn't picky.
