Madrigal - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Pleasant Hill, California

Madrigal is a spunky little gal with plenty of personality! She may not consider herself a traditional lap cat, but she definitely enjoys affection on her own terms. A good back scratch is always welcome, and when the mood strikes, she'll happily curl up right next to you for some quality time.

Like her siblings, Madrigal has quite the hunter instinct. She loves chasing down her toys and proudly parading around with her "trophies" once she's made a successful catch. Her favorites include soft toy mice and plastic springs, so be prepared for plenty of hunting expeditions around the house!

Madrigal also has a fantastic purr and the sweetest little bedtime habit. When she's getting ready to drift off for a nap, she'll sometimes pretend she's still "nursing"-an adorable comfort behavior that lets you know she's settling in for some serious sleep.

She has done wonderfully with adult cats as well as both small and large dogs. Madrigal would love to go home with one of her siblings or join a family that already has a friendly cat to keep her company.

If you're looking for a confident, playful girl with a little bit of sass, an impressive purr, and plenty of personality, Madrigal is ready to make herself at home!
