Meet Kedzie!

If you're looking for a cat who can be your personal cuddle buddy one minute and an Olympic-level athlete the next, Kedzie may be your perfect match!

Kedzie is a sweet, affectionate girl with a huge personality and plenty of kitten energy. She is incredibly friendly and loves being around her people. She'll happily climb into your lap, curl up beside you, or snuggle next to you in bed for a cozy nap. Give her some head or belly scratches and you'll be rewarded with purrs, and possibly an adorable rollover for more pets!

Kedzie is also a very playful girl. She loves running through tunnels, chasing toys, batting around springs, and leaping high into the air for wand toys. Her absolute favorite is a fuzzy little wand-toy attachment with a bell. She loves it so much that she'll grab it in her mouth and run away with it like she's just won the grand prize. She also enjoys chasing toys that are tossed for her and will happily keep you entertained with her zoomies and acrobatics.

When she's not busy showing off her athletic abilities, Kedzie is a total snugglebug. She approaches her people willingly, enjoys being petted, and is perfectly happy to curl up beside you and fall asleep. She's friendly with strangers and has no problem making new friends. She's also relatively quiet, unless she has something important to say, like asking for attention!

Kedzie has done wonderfully with her foster's 3-year-old male cat. Even when he was nervous and hissed at her, Kedzie didn't become defensive or argumentative. Instead, she simply stepped back or flopped onto her side to show him that she wasn't interested in a fight. Her easygoing response makes her a promising candidate for a home with another friendly, playful cat after a proper introduction.

Kedzie hasn't been exposed to children or dogs yet, but based on her confident, friendly personality and her calm response to a nervous resident cat, her foster believes she could potentially do well with either with appropriate introductions.

Kedzie would thrive in a home where she gets plenty of playtime, attention, and affection. She may especially enjoy having a playful feline friend close to her age and energy level. Most of all, she's looking for someone who wants the best of both worlds: a playful little goofball who also happens to be an exceptional lap cat.
