Rita - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Pittsford, Vermont

Meet Rita, a beautiful 5-month-old, short-haired black kitty who's searching for a cozy corner to call her own. Not just any corner, though! She's dreaming of a safe, quiet spot where she can feel comfortable, take in the view, and slowly learn that the world isn't such a scary place.

Rita is feeling a little stressed right now, but we believe there's a confident, caring, and affectionate girl waiting to come out of her shell. She just needs someone willing to give her the time and patience to get there!

A calm home, a slow introduction, and lots of understanding could make all the difference for this sweet girl. Rita deserves the chance to build confidence at her own pace and discover just how wonderful life in a loving home can be. Could you be the safe corner she's been looking for?

Interested in meeting Rita? Submit an adoption application and come visit her in the cat room Tuesday through Sunday between 11 AM and 4 PM. She may be a little shy at first, but she's hoping to find someone who will give her the time and space to blossom into the wonderful companion she's meant to be!
