Pekoe - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Pickerington, Ohio

This adorable rescue kitten is located is a foster home in central Ohio, along with his brother Cornbread. Pekoe is about 5 months old, dressed in classic black with a little white splash on his chest, and currently accepting applications for the very important position of Someone’s Beloved Forever Cat.

His qualifications?

Expert-level cuteness.
A playful side that comes out once he feels safe.
A sweet personality behind a shy-guy exterior.

Pekoe isn’t the kind of kitten who will march right up to strangers and demand attention. Because new people can make him nervous, he needs a patient person with cat experience who understands that trust takes time. A home without young children or dogs will be best. He hasn’t had experience with either, and a calm environment will give him the best opportunity to feel safe and flourish.

The grown-up stuff is already taken care of:

Neutered
Microchipped
Current on vaccinations
FIV/FeLV negative

Pekoe and Cornbread would love to be adopted together, but it is not required. However, please note that kittens must be adopted in pairs, unless the adopter already has a young, playful cat or kitten in the home.

Note that adopters MUST have a history with a veterinary clinic that can be verified, and an application MUST be submitted prior to arranging a meeting
