**NOTE: All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat. AVA does not accept applications for single kittens**
Lionel, Ronaldo, Alphonso, Christine & Marta are five playful siblings born to a barn cat and rescued after the first July heat wave—right in the middle of the FIFA World Cup! Since joining their foster team, these rising stars have quickly mastered the rules of indoor living, including perfect "in the box" litter habits. They all have healthy appetites (especially for canned food), and the sound of a can opening is guaranteed to trigger an enthusiastic pre-game chorus of meows! Be warned: hydration breaks often include little paws splashing in the water bowl. This squad is always ready for kickoff when the toys come out, whether it's wand toys, mice, pom-poms, tunnels, kickers, or—naturally—balls!
Christine is a beautiful little "Caliby," blending calico colours with lovely tabby markings. She sports adorable white boots and a white tummy with one tiny orange spot that makes her truly one of a kind. On the pitch, Christine loves charging through tunnels, scaling cat trees, grooming her teammates, and curling up for post-game naps—especially beside her sister Marta. While she's a little more reserved, she's been gaining confidence by following Marta's lead and has become increasingly comfortable with people. Together, the sisters make an unbeatable partnership, always encouraging one another and sharing the spotlight. Like the very best soccer duos, Christine and Marta have great chemistry and belong on the same team. They'll be happiest if adopted together.
Would you like to make Christine and Marta a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: www.avacats.org/adoption-application-form
Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.
Adoption fees are $275 for each kitten up to 12 months old. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it's twice the fun for you, and half the work!
