**NOTE: All AVA kittens under 12 months of age MUST be adopted in pairs or to a home with another young cat. AVA does not accept applications for single kittens**
Alvin is one of 5 brothers ( Leonard, Patty, Milo, and Louis) who were born on a farm. These boys are all extremely affectionate and playful. During their time outside they were taken care of by a family with kids so they love to be held/ handled. Each of these boys love to be cuddled, pet and will offer you a million kisses to show how much they love you. Not only do they love the affection of humans, they love each other.
They love the play (especially wrestle), groom and cuddle each other. They would be happy to be adopted with another one of their brothers! To balance their sweet side they’re also playful and love to play with toys. They’re so happy with any toy you give them! Although these brothers share their sweet and playful personalities they do have special little quirks that make them unique.
Alvin is often the first kitty to greet you with a big meow when you enter the room. He loves to come sit beside you and stare at you with so much admiration and appreciation. He loves his pets, especially his face rubs. He also loves to climb on to your lap to spend more time with you. Alvin has a very playful side to go along with his sweet side, he’s very adventurous, loves to play with his brothers and play with toys.
Would you like to make Alvin and one of his barn companions a part of your family? Please complete our online application found at: www.avacats.org/adoption-application-form
Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines (initial FVRCP and rabies), flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.
Adoption fees are $250 for each adult cat 1 year or older. Adoption fees are $275 for each kitten up to 12 months old. Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations (at $75 per booster) due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.
All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it's twice the fun for you, and half the work!
