Tom Catty ACCT-A-248481 is a roughly 10-month-old male cat looking for a new home after being surrendered by his family. He came to ACCT Philly as a walk-in surrender - his owners had a large household with several young children and felt they didn't have the time and energy to give him the care he deserved. Tom is described as a really friendly, playful guy who loves to run around and has even picked up a few commands along the way. He's mostly litter trained, medium energy, and a true homebody - he's had brief outdoor access but always came right back inside on his own. He can be shy around strangers at first but is said to be friendly with children, and his history with other cats and dogs is unknown. A patient home ready to give this sweet young cat some one-on-one attention would be just right for him.
