Orville - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Olly+2 ACCT-A-256718 are 2.5-month-old kittens that came in as strays on 7/26. Finder noted that they were "friendly, cuddly & shy." Olly+2 were noted to have an upper respiratory infection, to have a dull/lethargic demeanor, and covered in fleas/flea dirt.

MEDICAL:



Per their intake exam on 7/27, Olly+2 were dull/lethargic, had waxy ears, with fleas & flea dirt. Olly was noted to have eyes crusted shut with discharge, Orville had discharge but more on one eye than the other, and Okie Dokie's eyes were clear.



Per their exam on 7/26, they were flagged during check in by cat intake nurse for looking dull/unwell with upper respiratory signs. They were QAR (quiet, alert and responsive), and friendly. They have mucoid ocular discharge & mild congestion heard. A PCV/TS was run on the group, and the result was found to be 18 / 6.3. They have a community acquired URI, severe flea infestation, and suspect flea-related anemia. They eceived capstar & revolt at time of check in.



BEHAVIORAL:



Per staff on 7/27:

"I went to say hello to this group. One of the black kittens was mostly asleep, but both black kittens allowed pets. The gray tabby (Okie Dokie) was a lot more fearful, and paused licking their paw when they saw me. Their ears flattened out, and they hissed at me when I pet them."
