Obie Kenmore - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Personality types:

Private investigator - Curiosity knows no bounds and is always finding the hidden nooks and corners of your home.
Professional Cuddler - Affectionate, loves to snuggle and be close.
Socialite - Loves to be the center of attention and wants to be involved in everything you do.

Obie Kenmore was found following her sister, Callie, with small bits of asphalt sticking to part of her tail. Obie is a little shy at first, but loving when she warms up. An orange tabby, Obie is never going to be the smartest cat in the room (even if she's the only one there), but she is often the sweetest. Sometimes she'll flop down on the bed...and then fall off of it.
Obie likes to trill at her humans and run after any toy that moves. She is curious about other cats, and will keep approaching whether they like her or not. She's a lover, not a fighter. New people make her a little nervous, which means sometimes she'll try to run away. But Obie likes head pets and chin scratches, and will accept belly rubs from the right person.
Obie also loves playtime with almost anything - a string (even a drawstring), a thrown toy, a wand -- you move it, Obie is interested!
An ideal home for Obie will have some patience while she warms up to them, and then lots of time for playing.
