Personality types:
Part-time lover - Wants to be in the same room but also likes their space.
A work in progress - You'll have to earn their trust, but it's worth it!
Miles was found on the streets of Fairmount scavenging for food in the trash after a long weekend of rain. He was very guarded at first but quickly warmed up. After just a few days, he started letting us pet him and even started purring! He's still a bit sensitive but he's pretty tolerant allowing us to groom him as long as we went slow. At his most unguarded moments, he's been very sweet, playful, and a bit rambunctious.
He'd do well in a quieter home where he can get lots of love and attention. With a bit of time we have a strong sense that he'll fully let down his tough guy act and be a very affectionate and cuddly cat ready to curl up in your lap.
He's had exposure to cats from afar and appears unbothered and potentially friendly. It's possible he'd do well in a home with another cat. He has not had much if any exposure to dogs so if he was going to be in a home with a dog we think he'd fare best with a relaxed and respectful dog who can give him the space needed to warm up.
Miles Ogden is around a year old and is neutered, FeLV negative, FIV positive, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained. He is Affectionate, Brave, Curious, Friendly, Gentle, Playful, and Smart.
