MamaGirl is a 2-year-old female Domestic Shorthair who came to ACCT on 6/24/26 as a stray with her two kittens. This sweet little family is looking for a foster or rescue placement where they can continue to thrive together.

MamaGirl has quickly become a staff favorite thanks to her affectionate personality. She greets people from the front of her kennel, happily leans into pets and head scratches, and remains calm and trusting while staff handle her kittens. She is a wonderfully social, easygoing mom who clearly enjoys human companionship.

She is currently receiving treatment for a mild upper respiratory infection but has otherwise been caring well for her kittens. Recovering in a foster home will provide the quiet, low-stress environment she needs while allowing her kittens to continue growing until they are ready for surgery and adoption.

Staff noted on 6/26 "Mamagirl was observed resting at the front of her kennel when staff approached. She remained relaxed and readily solicited attention, leaning into gentle pets and especially enjoying head scratches. Mamagirl was calm and affiliative throughout the interaction and allowed staff to fully handle and examine her kittens without displaying any signs of stress or protective behavior. She appears to be a very sweet, social mother cat who is comfortable with human interaction and handling."
