And since then, Luigi has slowly, gently bloomed. He’s not like most kittens. There’s a stillness to him, a calm you don’t often see in one so young — like he’s an old soul who’s simply chosen to spend this life in a kitten’s body. He’d rather curl up beside the resident adult cats, or find his person and settle in for the night, than tear through the house causing chaos. Almost every evening, he falls asleep pressed against his foster mom, like he’s finally found the safety he was looking for all along.
He can be shy at first — a little cautious with new faces, a little unsure. But from the very first day, he’s leaned into every hand that’s reached out to hold him. It’s as if some part of him already knew he was safe now, even before the rest of him caught up.
And every so often, that quiet calm gives way to something joyful — a sudden burst of zoomies, a toy that catches his eye, a moment of pure kitten delight. Watching him play after everything he’s been through is one of the most heartwarming things you’ll ever see.
Luigi has also found something precious in his foster home: a bond with his foster sibling, Circe. The two of them have grown close, spending their days curled up together, and Luigi would be so happy to bring that friendship into his forever home. Circe is looking for her own happy ending too, and these two would be lucky to find it together.
