Little Bit - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Little Bit ACCT-A-260555 is an approximately 12 year old spayed female DSHA cat who was surrendered to ACCT Philly on 9/2/2026 due to the owner being deceased and their family not being able to provide care. Little Bit is reported to have lived with her previous owner her entire life and lived well in the home along with other cats.

Upon her medical exam, it was discovered that Little Bit has severe dental disease and will be in need of a dental cleaning procedure with likely extractions. Other than the dental disease, she is overall healthy and was treated for intestinal parasites and given flea treatment.

Adorable, shy girl Little Bit is now seeking a rescue placement, adopter, or foster who can facilitate her dental procedure and help her feel at ease and age gracefully.

Mentation: Bright Alert and Responsive; Body Condition Score (BCS): 5/9; Muscle Condition Score (MCS): 3/3; EENT: Corneal scarring OD. Mild ocular discharge OU; Oral: Severe dental disease, missing 404. No apparent oral masses or foreign bodies; Integument: Flea dirt present, no live fleas.

Behavior Note:
Visited Little Bit after she was moved into new kennel after sedation. Huddled in back of kennel, pupils dilated and occasional lip licking. Offered churu but appeared to be nauseated by the smell (more lip licking and moved away slightly). Spoke to her in a low calm voice and she allowed petting.
