We remember when we were first contacted about Jalen. He had shown up in a colony managed by his finder. He was clearly out of place; skinny, scared and with zero street smarts. We recall his finder (who also agreed to foster him ) telling us that she named him Jalen in hopes that he would grow up to be big and strong, just like Jalen Hurts ). We are happy to say that he has done justt that!

Jalen is the ultimate cat's cat-gentle, friendly, and playful with his feline friends. He thrives in the company of other cats, making him a great addition to a multi-cat household. He loves to be part of the group, whether it's playing, lounging, or just hanging out.

With humans, Jalen is a bit shy at first, but once he feels comfortable, his sweet and snuggly side shines through. He enjoys belly rubs, loves to lay next to you, and even likes being held-on his terms-when you're sitting or lying down. While he's not a fan of being picked up in the air, he shows his affection in quieter ways, like leaning in for pets and staying close by.

Jalen is also great at entertaining himself with toys but truly thrives in a home where he can bond with other cats and gradually build trust with his people. With just a little patience and a lot of love, Jalen blossoms into the best companion imaginable .
