Meet Goose!

Goose is a 2-year-old female Domestic Shorthair who came to ACCT on 6/22/26 as a stray with her three kittens after being found in a community setting. This small family is currently seeking foster or rescue placement where they can remain together.

Goose is currently on rabies observation until 7/6 following an incident prior to intake in which she scratched the finder during a fearful capture. This occurred in a high-stress situation, and she has otherwise demonstrated friendly behavior during her time at the shelter.

Since arrival, Goose has been consistently social with staff, allowing full handling of herself and her kittens during medical care and daily assessments. She remains calm, tolerant, and easy to work with, and has not shown any signs of ongoing aggression in the shelter environment.

She is currently receiving treatment for a mild upper respiratory infection in her kittens' household and is otherwise medically stable. A quiet foster environment would help reduce stress and allow Goose to continue caring for her kittens while they recover and grow.

Goose is an attentive, gentle mother who would benefit from placement with a foster or rescue able to provide a calm space for her and her kittens.
