Meet Canchita! This independent girl is the perfect mix of low-maintenance and affectionate. She currently shares a home with her big foster brother, BoB; while she isn’t his biggest fan, she is completely respectful, prefers to keep her distance, and would do fine in a home with a mellow cat or as your one-and-only queen.
Canchita is wonderful at keeping herself entertained and loves independent playtime. When she isn't playing, her absolute favorite pastime is finding a sunny windowsill to lounge on and sunbathe the day away. She values her personal space but has a sweet, affectionate side on her own terms—she loves getting head scratches when she approaches you, and she’ll even let you scoop her up and carry her like a baby for a quick cuddle! She isn't overly vocal, but she isn't totally silent either; she will gladly chirp and meow to let you know when it's breakfast or dinner time. Canchita is the ideal companion for someone looking for a calm, independent cat who still enjoys sweet moments of connection.

Canchita is approximately 4.5 years old and is spayed, FeLV and FIV negative, current on shots, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and litter box trained.
