Angel - Domestic Short Hair and Mixed Breed Cat for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Angel was adopted from PAWS as a teen kitten back in the Autumn of 2018. After many years of dutiful service as the resident greeter of guests to the home, usually being one of the first cats to seek and demand attention upon your arrival, Angel's owner sadly passed away this summer. Angel, with his sweet and quiet elegance, would thrive in a home that can give him all of the attention and petting session he craves. He was raised around tons of cats over the years (he was one of six that PAWS took in together, but his owner also fostered regularly throughout his life), so he could be introduced to any new furry friends that will respect his space during that adjustment. He has also done well with children, so same as with a home with cats...go slow at first, and spoil him often!

Angel had his right eye enucleated back when he first came into the shelter, and received entropion surgery on his left eye a few years later due to chronic infections. For now his left eye seems alright, but might need some additional care or medications for flare ups. Angel also had all but four of his teeth removed at the end of July, so that should help him to feel a little better and fresher on his next journey!
