DESCRIPTION

Meet Peeka Boo! Now you see me... now you don't! Well... actually, you'll always see Peeka Boo because this adorable black-and-white kitten has a way of making himself the center of attention wherever he goes. At just a few months old, Peeka Boo has already proven that he's tougher than he looks. He came into our care with a severe eye injury that required immediate surgery to remove the damaged eye. It's not the kind of start any kitten deserves, but if you ask Peeka Boo, that's ancient history. Instead of dwelling on the past, he decided he had much more important things to do—like chasing toy mice, pouncing on imaginary monsters, wrestling with his feline friends, and convincing every human he meets that they should stop everything and pet him. After recovering in a loving foster home, Peeka Boo blossomed into the sweet, social, and playful kitten he was always meant to be. He's lived happily alongside other cats and dogs and loves making new friends, whether they have two legs or four. Here's the best part: Peeka Boo is not considered a special needs kitten. He gets around beautifully, plays with all the enthusiasm of any kitten, and doesn't let having one eye slow him down for even a second. He does have a slight reduction in his peripheral vision, but he has adapted so well that most people would never even notice. His remaining eye also has a small ulcer that has been treated and may continue to improve over time. Peeka Boo approaches every day with endless curiosity, a playful spirit, and the kind of resilience that's impossible not to admire. He's proof that life's little bumps don't have to define you—they just make for a better story. If you're looking for a kitten who is equal parts cuddly, goofy, adventurous, and inspiring, Peeka Boo is ready to steal your heart... one eye contact at a time. All that's missing from his happy ending is a family to love him furever. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. My adoption fee is $100
