Just sit right back and youll hear a tale... However, this tale is not about a tiny ship, but instead, about two tiny kittens found in a trailer park in Platte City. They were stranded on their own after their mother weaned them. Fortunately, the fearless crew of the trailer park community cared for them until they were brought to our shelter. This allowed the little pair to avoid the fateful end that comes to most stray kittens.
Ginger and Mary Ann are adorable twin kittens. The only way to tell these two cuties apart is by Gingers two gray toes on their otherwise all white socks. Also, Ginger is the alpha twin and will warm up more quickly. Once she does, she basks in the spotlight (true to her actress namesake) of being petted. Mary Ann is on the shy side and will be skittish at first. But youll be able to tell that she wants to be loved by her behavior - humping up, rolling over, and rubbing against objects (all signs of affection and trust). She also watches her sister receiving pets and notices how much she enjoys it. So eventually Mary Ann will warm up, as well, just like she did in her foster home. She cant help herself.
Both kittens absolutely LOVE ping pong balls. They could bat and chase them for hours. And they have soccer moves that would rival any player in the World Cup this summer! Please come by to meet these delightful castaways and complete their rescue by welcoming them into your heart and home.
