Meet Donut

Donut is a 6-month-old kitten with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She has cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), also known as "wobbly cat syndrome." This is a non-progressive neurological condition that affects coordination and balance because the cerebellum didn't fully develop before birth.

While Donut may be a little wobbly on her feet, her condition is not painful or contagious-and it certainly doesn't slow her down! She's incredibly affectionate, loves to "talk," and her absolute favorite time of day is mealtime.

Donut does have a more advanced case of CH, so she may fall over frequently and needs some special accommodations for using the bathroom. With a supportive setup and a little patience, she navigates her world just fine.

For the past three months, Donut has been thriving in a foster home alongside other cats and dogs. She's proven that she can live a happy, full life with the right family.
