Maven now Penny - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Palmer, Alaska

Penny is a 3-year old spayed, adult, female kitty. ACAT is assisting her current owners rehoming her. Her owners love her very much, but Penny prefers to be a single kitty and the other cat in the home seems to cause some stress to Penny.

Penny is a very affectionate girl, social, and loves to meet people - even strangers.
She is very cuddly and loves lap time. She will roll over and ask for chest rubs and she loves to purr.
Penny is also playful and loves to hunt bugs or carry her favorite toys around the home.

She's good with kids and dogs. She will snuggle up with our larger dog even though he is mostly indifferent. She has shown interest in our baby and has been very gentle.
She is incredibly soft and her fur seems very resistant to matting, which is ideal because is not too fond of being brushed.
She is very good at scratching a cardboard scratcher. She has a favorite that will go with her.
She is an inside cat, but will gladly go in the backyard with you.
Penny has recently been to the vet to ensure she is current on her vaccines.
