Twix - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Ottawa, Ontario

Meet Twix, nicknamed “Grumpy” - because of her grumpy little face, not her personality at all! Twix is a gentle and affectionate kitten born on July 21, 2026. Although she is a timid kitten, her love for affection makes her brave. If you approach her calmly, she is very happy to have her cheeks and back scratched.

Although she loves affection, Twix is still a bit too nervous to crawl into her foster’s lap, but she gets closer everyday. Her foster is confident that one day the comfort of a warm lap will outweigh her fear.

Twix gets very scared of fast movements and loud noises, and she would do best in a calm household. She has never been around children or dogs, but her foster does not think she would do well around either.

Twix loves to play, but can be easily pushed aside by her bossy siblings so it is important she gets one-on-one attention too. Her favourite toys are interactive toys with her foster, or felt mouse toys she can carry around.

Twix would like to be adopted with one of her siblings, Aero, KitKat, or Reese’s Pieces.

NOTE 1: Spays, neuters, first vaccinations and vet checks are included in the adoption fee.

NOTE 2: Because a young kitten needs feline companionship, it is the policy of Cat Rescue Network that kittens 6 months or younger be adopted out in pairs unless there is another kitten or young cat already in the home.

NOTE 3: Cat Rescue Network only adopts their cats to homes in the National Capital region of Canada.
