Super Heroes meet Nayati! This kitten was seen falling into a drain on the side of the road by a community member, who rushed to the shelter to see if we could help. With the help of local DOT employees, the kitten was rescued from the drain pipe, and brought to the shelter for care. Luckily, besides being a little wet and scared, the kitten was unharmed! He was named after the DOT employee who climbed down into the pipe to rescue him, and gave him his second chance at life! Nayati is getting use to the indoor life, and learning to love pets! He really likes head scratches, and has the cutest little purr rattle when he gets excited about affection. He is very playful, spending hours batting toys around, and being a typical silly kitten.
