Garnet's Story
Garnet is a precious little treasure who came to the Rescue Center after being born into a local community cat colony. He arrived alongside his feral mama and his lookalike sister, Ruby. Because his first few weeks of life were spent learning outdoor survival skills from a feral mom, everything about the indoor world is still brand new and a bit grand to him.

Personality
At just 7 weeks old, Garnet is a tiny work in progress who is learning more every day! Like his sister, he is still adjusting to the feeling of human hands and the sounds of a busy shelter. While he can be nervous at first, he has a very gentle disposition and will accept soft love, gentle chin scratches, and head pats once he realizes he is safe and sound.

Ideal Home
Because Garnet is so young, he is in the perfect window to socialize and bond deeply with a forever family. He would thrive in a patient, relatively quiet home that can offer him plenty of gentle handling and reassurance. Having his sister Ruby or another confident, friendly resident cat in the home to show him that humans bring the best treats and toys would be an absolute plus for him!
