When my world suddenly went quiet (my owner passed away) I stayed by my person’s side until help finally arrived. It took two weeks and I hadn’t eaten in a long time but I never considered using my deceased owner as a meal. I’m still thin enough that you can feel my bones, but I’m safe now, and I’m making up for lost meals one happy bite at a time.

Despite everything, I’m an affectionate soul. I lean in for pets, melt under gentle scratches, and cherish every moment of kindness. I’m scheduled for a much‑needed dental soon, and everyone says I’ll feel even better afterward. For now, I’m just grateful—grateful for soft voices, warm hands, and the promise of a peaceful future.

I don’t ask for much. A good meal, a cozy spot, and someone who enjoys the quiet companionship of a senior cat who has known both loss and love. If you’re looking for a devoted friend who will appreciate you every single day, I would be honored to be that companion. Just make sure you have someone checking on us on a regular basis!
