Thomas is a gentle, tender-hearted grey tabby who’s gradually learning the world can be a safe and kind place. Now

2 years old, Thomas came from a colony in the East Bay, where life was unpredictable and often unsafe. After some time with his rescuer, he made his way to Cat Town, where it took him over a month to begin settling in. Since then, he’s been quietly blossoming.

These days, Thomas welcomes soft cheek rubs and gentle petting from people he trusts. With new folks, he’s still unsure — but given time and a calm presence, his curiosity begins to shine through.

Where Thomas truly feels at ease is with other cats. He seeks them out for comfort, often curling up beside his feline friends for naps and reassurance. Their presence helps him feel safe, and he looks to them as guides in this new indoor life.

Thomas will do best in a quieter home with patient guardians who understand that trust takes time. He’ll need a friendly, affectionate cat friend around his age — someone who can offer both companionship and a feeling of safety and belonging.

For the right home, Thomas offers something special: the quiet joy of watching a shy cat grow, connect, and choose you as his person.

Thomas is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. If you are interested in setting up a meeting or have more questions, please complete our Adoption Inquiry form below.
