Meet Xavier and Ashley, a beautiful bonded pair who have truly blossomed through the power of friendship! Xavier is a handsome 10-month-old orange and white boy, and Ashley is a sleek 1-year-old black beauty. Both of these sweet souls started their journey feeling quite shy, but they quickly found comfort in one another. Ashley's curiosity helped Xavier relax, and now they are inseparable--grooming, snuggling, and racing around together as true "night owls." While they both still have a habit of running to hide when someone first enters a room, they melt into purring puddles of love as soon as you pick them up for a cuddle. Once he is comfortable, Xavier is an active, playful guy who absolutely loves chasing a red laser dot! Potential adopters should note that he is a "texture explorer" who likes to chew on paper and toy tags; for his safety, his new family will need to keep his environment clear of small chewable items and provide plenty of cat-safe toys instead. Ashley has come a long way as well, discovering the joy of wand toys and developed her signature move of snuggling between your legs when you sit down to relax. To help them feel their most secure, Xavier and Ashley are looking for a quiet, dog-free home where they can continue to build their confidence. Because they are still a bit timid, they would do best in a household with children aged 12 and up who understand how to be soft and gentle. These two rely on each other for everything, and seeing them snuggle together is a constant reminder of how special their bond is. If you have a heart for shy kitties and a little bit of patience, Xavier and Ashley will reward you with double the love! Their combined adoption fee is $475.
