DESCRIPTION

If you're looking for a loyal companion who wants to be right in the middle of everything you do, you've found your match in S'mores! He's moved past his rougher days as a stray, complete with a "war wound" on his ear to prove his resilience--and he is so ready to settle into a cozy home where he can finally be pampered. This 3 year old sweetheart is the definition of a "velcro cat"! He'll happily follow you from room to room just to make sure he isn't missing out on any of the action. One of his absolute favorite things to do is stand up and place his paws on your shoulders for a "tiny hug" while politely asking for some chin scratches. He's a snowy-furred gentleman who just wants to soak up all the affection you can offer. When he's not busy being your shadow, you can usually find S'mores perched by the window, intently supervising the birds and leaves outside. He's incredibly easygoing and affectionate and a huge fan of wet food (he'll let you know if you're 1 minute late with meal time)! While S'mores is a friend to every human he meets, he's a bit more selective about his four-legged roommates. He would truly love to be your one-and-only king of the castle, but he may be open to a home with other pets if the fit is right (think "roommate", not "playmate"). If you already have a resident cat, S'mores will need a very patient adopter who is committed to a slow, structured introduction. This means starting him off in his own "home base" room and gradually letting everyone get used to each other's scents and sounds before meeting face-to-face. He may also be okay with a calm dog who is happy to give him his personal bubble. Because S'mores appreciates a predictable environment, we think he'd do best in a home with kiddos aged 8 and up. If you have a little patience and a soft spot for a cuddly supervisor, S'mores is ready to show you just how sweet life can be! His adoption fee is $225.
