If you're looking for a graceful companion who appreciates the quieter side of life, meet Zelda. This gorgeous two-year-old long-haired brown tabby is a gentle soul who is as affectionate as she is beautiful. While she can be a bit shy when faced with change, once she feels safe, her true personality shines through--and she isn't afraid to use her sweet voice to "talk" to you and let you know she's ready for some attention. Zelda's stunning long coat is one of her best features, but it does require a little extra TLC. She'll need a family committed to frequent, regular brushing to keep her fur soft and tangle-free. This isn't just about looking her best; it's important for her comfort, as it prevents mats that can become quite painful for her. It's also a great way to bond with her! Zelda is relatively independent and isn't necessarily looking for a feline best friend to wrestle with. However, she's a respectful roommate and can certainly co-exist with a calm resident cat or even a mellow, cat-friendly dog. She's the perfect match for someone who wants a loyal presence nearby without the constant energy of a younger kitten. Because Zelda values a peaceful environment and likes to take things at her own pace, we recommend a home with children aged 8 and up who can be gentle with her while she settles in. If you have a quiet corner of your heart (and your home) for a lovely, talkative girl, Zelda would love to meet you! Her adoption fee is $225.
