Sassy is a lovely 10-year-old senior kitty who is ready to find a calm, loving home to spend her golden years. She has lived her entire life with her devoted owners, who gave her a safe and caring home. Sadly, after one owner passed away and the other moved into a care facility, Sassy is now in need of a new forever family.

Sassy is a quiet, sweet girl who thrives in a peaceful environment. She enjoys the simple things in life—lounging in a sunny window, relaxing on her cat tree, and especially being brushed (which will have her happily purring in no time). While she may take a little time to warm up, once she trusts you, she becomes incredibly affectionate. One of her favorite things is being held close against your chest or carried on your hip like a baby—it’s her special way of bonding and feeling safe.

She has excellent litter box manners and has been well cared for throughout her life. Sassy will do best on a high-quality senior diet that includes both dry and wet food, and she would benefit from a little help reaching a healthy weight.
Sassy can be adopted on her own as the center of your world, or she could peacefully coexist with another gentle cat. She has also lived with Mama, who is available for adoption as well, and they would be happy to go to a home together.

Sassy is a soft, sensitive companion who just needs a little time and a lot of love to truly shine. In return, she’ll offer quiet companionship and a deep, comforting bond.
