Peanut is a brave, extraverted boy who has been incredibly resilient from the start. He came into foster care completely alone at just a few weeks old, but he excelled from day one. He quickly adjusted to playing with much older foster kittens and he happily took their beatings. Once those older buddies were adopted, he quickly shifted gears and made friends with fosters much younger than him.

To say Peanut loves to play is an understatement! He will happily wrestle and tumble with other kitties, dogs, or even entertain himself if no one else is around. He is a little fireball who will confidently take on any fur baby that wants to play and probably some that dont. When he wears himself out, Peanut transforms into the ultimate sweetheart. He is a true lap kitty who loves to cuddle during the day and will happily curl up to sleep with his people at night.

Peanut would thrive in a home with a fur buddy (cat or dog) who is open to having a new best friend. Adopters should note that he is food motivated. He will occasionally try to sneak a taste of food that isn't his, but he is steered away when he gets shown a spray water bottle.

Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays from noon to 4pm.
