Onyx is in the Adoption Ambassador foster program. Foster families take animals into their homes and help them get adopted. This is what her foster family is saying about her:

Onxy is ready to find her forever home. Onyx is 2.5 months old and came into Charleston Animal Society Berkeley Campus very sick with infections in both her eyes that caused her eyes irreversible damage and left her blind. Once healthy enough she had enucleation surgery to remove both of her eyes so she does not have to deal with the pain they caused. She is now healthy and learning all things kitten and maybe some dog. She has free run of my house and gets around remarkably well. She loves to play with toys that make noise. She also loves to have her chin scratched when she is ready to settle down for a nap.
