Welcome Conductor back to SAAP!

This sweet boy was recently returned through no fault of his own when his adopter was no longer able to care for him. Understandably, he’s a little unsure about being back in his foster home—the same place where he spent his first months growing up as a bottle baby.

Conductor just turned one year old and has spent the last several months in a quiet home with another cat. Coming back to our loud, busy, chaos-filled household has been a big adjustment for him. Even though he’s feeling a little overwhelmed, he’s been incredibly sweet, allowing us to pet him, pick him up, and shower him with love.

When things get especially noisy, Conductor still prefers to retreat to a safe hiding spot, but we’re already seeing progress every day. As he settles back in and regains his confidence, we’re certain his wonderful personality will shine through once again.

We’ll keep you updated on his journey as he gets reacquainted with the chaos and remembers that it’s not so scary after all.
