Boomer is a gorgeous 6-month-old smokey grey boy with the sweetest, gentlest personality. He has a quiet, independent spirit and may take a little time to feel comfortable in a new environment. When things get noisy or overwhelming, Boomer is more likely to find a cozy hiding spot and wait for the house to settle down.

But once he feels safe, his true personality comes out. Boomer is an absolute **snuggle bug** who loves relaxing with his people and soaking up affection. He is incredibly patient, sweet, and gentle, and would love a family willing to give him the time and space he needs to build confidence.

Boomer can do well with **calm, respectful children ages 12 and older**, especially those who understand that sometimes the best way to make friends with a shy kitty is to simply sit nearby and let him come to you. We can picture him perfectly with an older child curled up on the couch reading him a story while he settles in beside them.

Boomer isn't looking for a loud or chaotic household. He's looking for someone who will see the wonderful cat underneath his shyness and give him the chance to show you just how loving he can be.

Adoption fee is $150. He is fixed, chipped, dewormed, flea treated, started on vaccines, had a wellness exam and a free vet exam at Guardian Vet Care with in 60 days.
