DESCRIPTION
Earlier this year, sweet Selene started frequenting her feeders' backyard in Woodside, Queens. After a few weeks of showing up consistently, it became clear to her feeders that this sweet girl was familiar with human interaction. She would meow for food and became especially bonded with one of her feeders. They had a feeling that she may be a friendly girl, familiar to an indoor environment some point earlier in her life. When her feeders spotted male cats mounting Selene, they immediately reached out to us to get her spayed. We trapped and sterilized Selene, and her feeders took it upon them to assess her behavior indoors post-op. It only took a few days for her to fully acclimate to her current foster home, allowing for pets and playing with toys. She is still warming up to certain things, and may be a little shy at first, but given a little bit of patience and lots of love, Selene will surely show you how loving and adorable she is. Selene would do well in a household that can give her one on one attention and follow her cues. She is up She is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, wrapping up with parasite treatment and, negative for both FeLV and FIV. While we may not know what her story was before finding her, we sure can help give her a beautiful fresh start to a life fully indoors with her forever humans!
