Rufus - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in New York, New York

Rufus is a big tabby boy with a soft heart and a few little jagged edges to his ears that hint at a life before rescue. He was found hiding under a car, but these days, he’s discovered just how wonderful a cozy snuggle can be. Rufus is a very affectionate guy once he feels safe, though he can be shy at first and will need a little time to come out of his shell. He gets along beautifully with other cats, too, and would love a feline friend to keep him company. At around 5 years old, Rufus is ready to trade his days of hiding for a safe home, cozy naps, and all the cuddles he can get.
