Percy - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in New York, New York

What my friends at ACC say about me:
My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!
Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!
I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.
Percy tolerates attention and petting but appears to be moderately fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that he go to a home with some cat experience preferred and be well counseled in fearful cat behavior.

My foster writes:
Meet Percy & Zeus: two sweet, food-motivated boys
These two are total sweethearts who love treats and affection. Give them treats on Day 1 and you'll be friends: expect head butts into your hand and rubbing against your legs for pets. They're vocal, too, and will happily let you know when it's mealtime.
Fun fact: Zeus is a speed-eater who'll happily check out his brother's bowl after finishing his own, while Percy takes his time. A little supervision at dinner keeps everyone happy. Primary Color: Ginger Tabby Secondary Color: Orange Tabby Weight: 14.18lbs Age: 4yrs 0mths 3wks Animal has been Neutered
