Brooke Lynn was curled up at the back of the kennel with a neutral body and eyes upon approach. When spoken to and opening the door, she sniffs treats offered and welcomes petting on the head. She gets up, walks forward, and leans in and purrs for cheek rubs. When stroking her body, she raises her hips and tail in the air. During pick up, she remains calm but tenses up a little bit and softly stress meows. It is possible that she may be stressed due to being housed in the Cat Adoptions Alley. After placing her back down, she continues to tolerate more petting and attention. She is easily picked up again and transferred into a carrier. She softly stress meows during transport; however, after moving her to a new kennel in the Pet Adoption Center, she eagerly head bunts for petting and leans in for cheek rubs. She walks out of the kennel, remains calm when picked up, held, and returned, continues to appreciate more petting and cheek rubs, and rubs her face on the door and kennel to solicit more attention.
