Aries is a very special young lady. Her rescuer says that in 10 years of rescuing, she has never met a more devoted and loving mother than Aries.

Aries didn't simply feed and groom her kittens--she truly mothered them. She taught them how to behave, made sure they played nicely, and stepped in whenever they got too rough with one another. When her kittens left for KittyKind, that mothering instinct didn't disappear. She immediately turned her attention to two other kittens and began treating them as though they were her own and has don the same with subsequent kittens! She has a very strong maternal instinct and would likely be protective of a younger cat she considered part of her family.

Aries is also one of the gentlest and most affectionate cats. She will greet you at the door every day like a dog and won't walk away until acknowledged. Whenever she gets the chance, she'll reach for your hand and try to pull it closer to her. If you sit down, she comes running to climb into your lap. She is an incredibly sweet and loving cat.

She also doesn't need much to be happy. Give Aries a comfortable spot beside an active window where she can watch birds and squirrels, and she'll be perfectly content.

When Aries first arrived and was still nursing, she happily ate almost anything I offered her. Now that she's no longer nursing, she has become pickier and definitely has her favorites.
