These 4 kittens were all rescued together at 5-weeks old, found huddled under garbage in an abandoned, dilapidated garage. Today, at just over 3-months old, all 4 kittens are the picture of health — playful, loving, mischievous, and still tangled up in each other every chance they get.
We gave these precious nuggets names inspired by horse breeds, chosen in honor of the NYC carriage horses that we animal advocates hope will soon retire to sanctuary.
And now these babies personalities are really shining through!...
Appaloosa springs onto her foster's chest & tucks herself under her chin, then turns into a fierce little lioness the moment a toy is in play, growling & guarding it from her two much bigger brothers.
Palomino has become the resident love bug, meowing & flopping over to present his belly to anyone who walks by.
Caspian, the biggest boy, is secretly the biggest baby, more interested in being held than anything else.
Pinto is the most beautiful, sweetest, kindest, quiet soul of a kitten who is looking for that special home where she will surely blossom into a total lovebug.
The siblings remain as bonded as the day they were found, with wrestling matches turning into hugs & tumbles every day.
Whoever adopts them is getting a lioness who guards her toys like they're rare treasure (Appaloosa), a mischievous munchkin who meow-talks the second he sees you (Palomino), a leader who secretly wants to be held and fall asleep in your arms (Caspian), and a beautiful budding flower who simply loves everyone (Pinto).
We would like to adopt them out in male/female pairs - our ideal vision is Appaloosa & Palomino and Caspian & Pinto, but this is flexible!
