Velma is a 2-year-old sweetheart who has truly come out of her shell. These days, she's one of the first cats to get up and welcome visitors into our catio room, happily seeking out pets and affection from anyone willing to give them. She is incredibly loving and has a gentle personality that wins over everyone she meets.

Velma doesn't mind her feline neighbors and enjoys the company of both people and other cats. Her joyful spirit shines through every day, and she never lets her medical condition slow her down.

Velma has Abdominal Lymphadenopathy, which means she has enlarged lymph nodes in her digestive tract. She eats a special diet and takes medication that she'll likely need for the rest of her life to help keep her feeling her best. Despite this, Velma is happy, affectionate, and full of life.

We're hoping someone with a big heart will see past her diagnosis and fall in love with the amazing cat she is. Velma deserves a family who will cherish her for the sweet, loving girl she is.
